About

Pavillion brings together the people who shape exceptional homes, and creates the conditions for real relationships to form between them.

That is the whole idea. The best work comes from people who know and trust one another, and trust like that is built slowly, through familiarity and time spent properly.

A circle kept deliberately small, returned to throughout the year, where the same people become familiar and familiarity deepens into trust. We take care of what makes that possible: who is in the room, where everyone gathers, gatherings hosted well enough that no one has to perform. The relationships compound from there, and the best things, the friendships, the collaborations, the work, follow on their own.

Pavillion was founded by Oliver Gilberthorpe and Tom Waltham, who come at the same world from different ends. Tom has spent thirteen years at the top end of the country's property market, Oli's in design, having run interior and lighting studios in the UK and the States. Between them, most of how a great home comes together — and a shared belief that all of it comes down to relationships, and to the people you trust.

They are joined by Jonathan Webster and Bruce Newson, who have spent decades guiding clients through the buying and building of exceptional homes, and who help shape how Pavillion looks after its own. Four people, four routes into this industry, one conviction they each arrived at independently.

Pavillion is the room they wanted to be in themselves.

We gather in person, within a small and intentional circle. A space designed to be returned to. Conversations that continue rather than reset.
